Buildings adjacent to railways, such as hotels and music facilities, need to reduce the impact of vibrations and solid-borne noise generated during train operations, as they are integrated structures with railway facilities. Coil springs provide a higher vibration isolation effect than anti-vibration rubber. By using floating track slab technology, it is possible to reduce vibrations transmitted from the track to the building by one-tenth (-20dB to -30dB).
